Cheese Sticks
- 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ cup butter
- ½ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 1/3 cup flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- Mix cheese, butter, salt, & cayenne pepper until blended.
- Stir in flour 1/3 cup at a time
- Form into a ball (can chill if desired)
- Form into sticks 2” by ½” (finger size). (Pull off dough with finger).
- Brush sticks with beaten egg
- Sprinkle with salt
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 375º
