Chili
- 8 oz. lean ground Beef
- 4 oz. chopped onion
- 1 medium green pepper, cut into small pieces
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/8 cup finely chopped parsley
- 2 medium canned tomatoes
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 10 oz. canned small red beans, drained (Don't Rinse)
- 2 tbs.. chili powder
- 1 ½ tsp. cumin
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- Broil Beef on a rack until brown and crumbly.
- Combine with onion and green pepper in a medium non-stick skillet and cook for 5 minutes or until onions are browned.
- Add all other ingredients and mix thoroughly.
- Simmer over low heat for 30-40 minutes.
