Keymali Macaron - Macaroni w/Fried Meat
- 1 lb. ground beef or lamb
- ½ cup finely chopped onion
- 1 1/3 cup finely chopped canned tomatoes
- 1 can tomato paste
- 4 tbs. water
- ¼ tsp. black pepper
- ¼ tsp. allspice
- ¼ tsp. paprika
- dash cayenne
- 1 ½ tsp. salt
- 3 oz. macaroni
- ¼ tsp. garlic powder or 2 finely chopped cloves
- Brown meat in skillet. Drain fat thoroughly.
- Add onion and garlic.
- Continue to brown for 5 more minutes.
- Mix in rest of ingredients except macaroni.
- Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Set aside.
- Cook macaroni until tender.
- Mix with meat mixture.
- Spread into baking pan and bake at 350º for 30-35 minutes. (Stir once or twice while baking).
- Serve hot
