Marcia’s French Toast
- 1 loaf French Bread
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- ¼ tsp. salt
- cinnamon
Should be prepared the night before
- Melt butter and mix in brown sugar
- Spread in bottom of buttered 9 x 13 in. pan
- Slice bread in 1 in. slices and arrange as close as possible over caramel mixture
- Beat eggs and milk, add salt and cinnamon
- Pour over bread
- Cover and put in fridge overnite
- Bake 45 minutes uncovered at 325º
