Millionaire Chicken
- 1 chicken or Chicken Pieces, 2-3 lb.
Sauce 'A':
- 4 Tbs. Soy Sauce
- 2 Tbs. Honey
- 1 clove crushed garlic
- ½ tsp. salt
Sauce 'B':
- 3 Tbs. Peanut Oil
- 2 Scallions, Chopped
- 4 slices fresh ginger, chopped
- ½ tsp. Szechwan peppercorn
- ¼ tsp. crushed red pepper
- Steam or boil chicken until cooked (1 hour for a whole chicken, 20-30 minutes for pieces).
- Let chicken cool, then bone it and cut into bite size pieces (refrigerate).
- Combine sauce 'A' ingredients, let sit 5 minutes.
- Combine sauce 'B' ingredients over low heat for 3 minutes. Mix with sauce 'A'.
- Toss sauce w/chicken and arrange on a platter over lettuce leaves.
- (make extra sauce to serve on the side).
