Strawberries mixed with liqueurs (Strawberry coupe)
- 1 pint fresh strawberries
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tbs. kirsch
- 1 tbs. maraschino liqueur (may substitute Chambord)
- 1 tbs. light rum
- ½ tsp. vanilla
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream
- Wash strawberries and hull. Halve large berries.
- Mix with the sugar, kirsch, maraschino liqueur, rum and vanilla.
- Cover and chill.
- When served, top with ice cream.
