Lokshen Kugel

  1. Grease an 8" square pan.
  2. Cook noodles (slightly undercook).
  3. Drain the pineapple of all liquid.
  4. Mix sugar and egg. Mix flavorings, salt, spices, pineapple, and oil thoroughly.
  5. Add and mix cooked noodles.
  6. Add matzo meal. Mix thoroughly.
  7. Turn into greased pan.
  8. Sprinkle top lightly with shaker and some dry matzo meal.
  9. Bake for 1 hr at 375° (1 hr 5 min & 350° in glass).
  10. Let cool 10 minutes, loosen edges with back of knife and turn out.
