Shish Kebab


  1. Cut beef into cubes, removing gristle. There will be from 16 to 24 pieces. Remember how many.
  2. Mix marinade and let beef stand in it for about 3 hours (2 out of refrigerator).
  3. Blanch onion after peeling. Cut and separate into same number of pieces as beef.
  4. Wash and cut green pepper into half as many pieces as beef.
  5. Wash and cut tomato into half as many pieces as beef.
  6. (Start rice now).
  7. Assemble shish kebabs (4 of them).
  8. Push skewered material together firmly, place on rack on broiler pan and cover with any extra marinade.
  9. Broil about 7 minutes on each side.
  10. Serve with rice (¾ cups uncooked).
